But with the right idea and a small investment, we can make a little go a long, long way.
Anne Chege, founder of the New Hope Children's Centre in Kenya, presented us with one such idea: growing mushrooms! The £300 needed to get this simple project underway was quickly raised. The mushrooms are now growing very quickly in their shed and are almost ready for the local market.
