Made to Feel Special

On Christmas Eve, the children at New Hope were made to feel special. We all need to hear or feel that sometimes but for most of these children, they have not had the privilege of a stable family, and for some, they have known the trauma of abandonment. When they saw the tents going up, they asked ‘Who are the special visitors coming?’ They were told, ‘You are!’ What joy they felt. They were then treated to bouncy castles, special food, gifts, and so much more courtesy of specific donations that were given to make this day a memorable one.
