Fundraising in High Chelmer Shopping Centre, Chelmsford
We were so pleased with the amazing response. Whilst watching a sea of green balloons bob along the high street, we managed to give out hundreds of Gift Catalogues, and get Chelmsford excited about alternative gifts for this Christmas! Being in the community was fantastic for us and the atmosphere around the stand - and the cow - was buzzing!
Additionally to explaining who we are and what we do to the shoppers of Chelmsford we managed to raise £170.82 which when matched funded by a very generous supporter makes the total £341.64!! All the money raised is going towards building a nursery for 140 children in Iganga, Uganda who at the moment meet in a mud hut, far too small with the risk of collapse in the rain seasons. Thanks to your generosity we have raised £7,500 of the £10,000 target. Thank you!!
