Go experience
There is something special about the meeting of souls from different cultures and backgrounds. A rich exchange of knowledge takes place and this has been known to significantly impact the lives of the young people we work with and our trippers.
Past trippers have experienced first-hand how money that they have given is being used and seen the impact that charity is having with our project partners. Time given to children as well as doing those extra tasks like painting a mural or running a holiday club have been well received over the years.
Whether you’re thinking about going as an individual or in a group, drop us a line and we’ll fill you in on the whole process from beginning to end.
A water miracle
We can never prepare our trippers enough for what they may encounter on a mission.
In July 2019, a team of young people rose to the occasion when they learnt of New Hope’s water shortage problem due to a faulty pump.
This kick-started an aggressive fundraising campaign by the team who raised £3,000 pounds in under 48 hours whilst they were there, replacing the defective part and clearing a massive debt to a utility company.
In return, they arrived home with an amazing story of provision, and an extra special connection with the New Hope children.
