Invite us to speak
We’ve taken assemblies and lessons on poverty at schools, we’ve visited youth clubs and we’ve spoken in churches.
Schools in Essex
As a charity involved with children, we love to have the opportunity to talk to children in this country about the children we work with in Kenya and Uganda. As part of your school’s global learning we can provide an awareness of another culture and help to make the children socially-aware working towards making them responsible global citizens. Although fundraising for Hand in Hand is not a requirement for coming to speak at your assembly or class lesson, we obviously appreciate any fundraising that may be achieved for the charity. All of our staff are DBS checked.
Churches
We are supported by a number of different churches and regularly visit them to give updates on our work. If you would be interested in hearing about the work of Hand in Hand in more detail, then why not invite us to your church? Maybe a group from your church would like to see first-hand how we are supporting our project partners? We can help you organise such a trip.
Clubs
We have visited a number of different clubs ranging from scout groups to youth clubs and Rotary meetings to talk about the work that we are involved with. Most of the groups have an interest in a particular project but we do present the whole of our work for others. Please contact us, we'd love to come and see you!
Let us know if you’d like us to visit you.
